LIFE Learning Is For Everyone

This true story shares how South Carolina has gone from no opportunities for students with ID in college to efforts at 6 different campuses in the state. it is a good read for all parents

I don't routinely endorse books on the blog "BUT" The book can be purchased on Amazon.com, simply either search "Donald Bailey" or "LIFE Learning Is For Everyone" All proceeds from the sale of the book will go to scholarships for students enrolled in College Transition Connection sponsored programs

For parents of students with ID this is an important read, and the proceeds go for the right cause

Lives Worth Living - I so need to share this

Produced and directed by Eric Neudel, Lives Worth Living is a window into a world inhabited by people with an unwavering determination to live their lives like everyone else, and a look back into a past when millions of Americans lived without access to schools, apartment buildings, and public transportation – a way of life unimaginable today. Lives Worth Living premieres on the Emmy® Award-winning PBS series Independent Lens, on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 10 PM (check local listings).
