A Larger Mission and New Directions The More Than About Jon Project is a volunteer organization serving individuals with intellectual and Developmental Disabilities The organization was founded by parents of children with intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who learned that there were few options for using technology in the structured specialized education school environment. The More Than About Jon Project was established to provide technology based opportunities to all individual with intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. In addition the more than about jon project is a partner in sponsoring creative arts programs for individuals with disabilities. Our mission is to create communities of people sharing ideas both in person and online. IT professionals and Open Source Programers building USB key and writing open source applications - evaluating and writing applications for tablet devices Educators, Parents, and Professionals - Sharing special education resource they have found that “work” Filmmakers, Artists, Musicians and more Partners to sponsor creative arts programs for individuals with disabilities.
